November BoxyCharm!

The November BoxyCharm has arrived!

BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription beauty box for $21 a month, which includes 5 or more full size products.

MicaBeauty Eye Primer

Retail price $44.95

This is a waterproof eye primer for eyeshadow and foundation.

It’s a very good product, but that price is too steep for my cheapness.

OFRA Cosmetics Pressed Blush

Retail price $24.95

I’m a huge fan of a nice pink blush. This is such a beautiful natural looking color, with the faintest hint of shimmer, that can be applied wet or dry.

TARINO TARANTINO Eyelicity Glitter Liner

Retail price $16.00

I would never think to buy glitter eyeliner, unless I was going to a Ke$ha concert.

I’m absolutely in love.

Putting this over my regular eyeliner brightens my eyes.

Kevin.Murphy Color.Bug

Retail price $25.00

It’s expensive ‘metallic’ hair chalk.

Maybe someone with a different hair color would have a better experience. I have light blonde hair, putting the gold color.bug on my hair looks like I dipped my hair in dirt.

Sparkling dirt, but still dirt.

It would be a pretty eyeshadow color, maybe it would work on non blonde hair.

bellápierre Shimmer Power

Retail price $14.99

This loose shimmer powder claims that since it has no fillers or creams, it will not crease, smear or fade.

I believe it.

You could put this on top of a matte shadow to make it more dramatic.

Or on top of a shimmer eyeshadow for an ULTRA dramatic look.

The sparkles look white in the container,  but look more iridescent on bare skin. The sparkles seem to reflect the color they’re on top of making this product truely go with any color.

The grand total for this BoxyCharm is $129.89

This wasn’t the most exciting BoxyCharm, but I’ll definitely be using all but one of these products.

October 2014 BoxyCharm!

The day has finally come! I have been patiently waiting for this box to arrive for what seems like forever.

Was it worth the wait?

Palmetto Derma Collagen Booster & Restoration Serum

This little bottle has blown my mind.

I put it on my face last night and this morning, and my pores have shrinked incredibly.

It’s supposed to stop premature aging and give you youthful glowing skin.

I have never been more impressed with a skin car product.

This 1 oz bottle costs a whopping $48.

BoxyCharm imcluded a 20% off coupon code for anything on use the code BCPD2.

Coastal Scents Eclipse Concealer Palette

With 11 skin tones and 4 correctional tones (white, green, lavender, and yellow)

I have been dying to try this pallette.

The quality is amazing.

This pallette costs $19.95, you can occasionally find it on sale for $12.95

Cult Commerce x BoxyCharm Shady Collection

Only the perfect October nail polish.

A deep purple that reflects the light beautifully,  and a dark gun metal gray.

You can buy this for $21 at

Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow

in the shade rock bottom

This color can only be described as rose gold.

STARLOOKS Ultra Gem Pencil

in Ultra Olive

$14 for this beauty.

Never in a million years would I think to try an olive gem liner, but its absolutely gorgeous.

This box is worth $116.95, and I loved everything in it.

October Ipsy!

October Glambag

finally got my ipsy bag in the mail.

The first thing I saw when I opened it was

Ecru New York

Protein BB Cream for Hair

It feels like a lotion,  and does a good job smoothing fly aways.

This is 1/4th the full size.

I really have no idea how much the full size costs. Their website had no prices, and from what I could see, no way to buy anything.

That being said, if you can figure out their website use the code IPSY at checkout to get 20% off.

Next item is

Skin Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths

10 ct. Full size is 30 ct. For $15.

I’m a big fan of makeup remover wipes, for those nights I want to be lazy and makeup free.

These get the job done, but I think they feel too soapy. Maybe that’s a good thing.

Ipsy does have an awesome coupon code for the company’s website: Use the code IPSYGCC and get 50% off one item and 25% the rest of your order.

Figs and Rouge Hand Cream

This tiny tube (.67oz) is a full size product.

For $6.56 plus 15% off using the code IPSY.

My absolute favorite thing in my bag was

City Color BE MATTE Lipstick

In the color Cappuccino

I absolutely love this shade. It’s a neutral, that’s perfect for fall.

This beauty costs $5 plus 20% off using the code IPSY20ML.

And last and least (yes I mean least)

Jessie’s Girl Mineralized Baked Powder

In the shade Ocean Breeze

I’m not a fan of the color, and it has the texture of wet’n’wild eyeshadow. Not my cup of tea.

This retails for $3.99 and 20% off with the code IPSY.

So this bag’s total value is

Excluding however much the mysterious hair cream costs.

I am very pleased with ipsy this month, partly because this is the first bag I haven’t received an eyeliner in.

BoxyCharm Waitlist!

I’m excited to announce,  I’m off boxycharm’s dreadful waitlist. It was a long 4 days. I’m hoping since I’m off the waitlist so quickly that means they’ve resolved this new influx of subscribers.
I should have my first boxycharm here soon!
There will definitely be an un boxing blog.

BoxyCharm is 21 bucks a month including shipping and the preview for this month is the eclipse concealer pallette by coastal scents. Which, by the way is $19.99, without shipping so we’re already getting a good deal. BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription beauty box which only sends full sized products, and 5-7 products. Last month was worth a whopping 98 bucks!

My ipsy glambag should be here anyday. I’ll be sure to do an unboxing of it. I have a feeling I wont be getting ipsy too much longer if boxycharm is really all it’s cracked up to be.
